Help President Obama right now: Share your story
by Triple C (CCC) on 12/02/12
I wanted to share this this letter I received.
I hope you had a lovely holiday and all is well. I'm writing with a quick update on the "fiscal cliff" and how you can get involved.
Right now, President Obama is asking you to think about what $2,000 a year means to you and your family -- because Congress needs to hear it.
The Senate has passed a bill that stops taxes from going up for 98 percent of American families, and asks those who can afford it to pay a little more. If the House follows suit, President Obama is ready to sign it as soon as it hits his desk.
If they fail to do so, a typical middle-class family of four will see their taxes go up by $2,000 in just a few short weeks.
President Obama is asking Congress to do the right thing and act before the New Year, but he needs our help. We've got a good track record here: When we make our voices heard and urge Congress to take action -- whether it's about health care, student loans, Wall Street reform, or "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" -- they listen.
Watch this new video about the President's tax plan, and take a moment to share your story: What does $2,000 a year mean to you and your family?
For more than 19 months, President Obama campaigned on the idea that if we're going to be successful, every American has to do their part and pay their fair share.
A centerpiece of his platform, and the campaign you built, was that income taxes should not go up on the middle class -- that the responsible way to pay down the deficit, while investing in education, job training, research, and science, is to ask the wealthiest Americans to pay a little more.
None of this is a surprise to anyone in Washington. They heard the same arguments we did -- they paid attention to the campaign, and then they saw a clear majority of voters deliver a verdict on November 6th.
If and when the House passes this bill, 98 percent of American families and 97 percent of small businesses will not see a tax increase.
Your story matters and Congress needs to hear it.
Think about what $2,000 a year can do for you, or your family, or someone you know, and submit it here:

Thanks for speaking out. More soon,

P.S. -- We've got to make our voices heard in this debate. Share what $2,000 means to you, and then ask your friends and family to do the same.
Injustice Part I
by Triple C (CCC) on 12/01/12
"Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere" those words were uttered by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The United States of America has many rules, regulations and laws in place for various reasons. While everyone of these laws and regulations where put in place for a reason, there are many laws that need to be updated as well as many that need to be changed and some that need to be abolished. When a law is allowed to be misused, even though it was put in place with good intentions, an injustice occurs. On November 24th 2012 one very huge injustice took place in Miami customs. How simple equals success
by Triple C (CCC) on 11/20/12
The information from this entry is taken from an article in the August 2011 issue of Blackk magazine. It is listed as Tennille M. Robinson's TIP OF THE MONTH on page 30. Here I extracted the main point of the article. Enjoy!
When writing a business plan you must be concise, precise and succinct, simple, clear, persuasive and truthful.
Deliver a document that offers few words (concise), yet still attacks a purpose with accuracy (precise) and gets to the point (succinct). Also, your plan should not be complicated (simple) nor use confusing, ambiguous language (clear). And lastly, it must provide a convincing business concept – one that has the power to induce an action or belief as well as give facts to support that the business concept is viable.
I hope this was insightful. Please share.

To those people who want to suceed
by Triple C (CCC) on 11/13/12
To those who want to suceed, what is your plan? What will you do? Will you immediately stop receiving assistance from the US government? Will you stop abiding by the rules of the US constitution? Will you begin leaving the United States of America?
For those people in Texas who want to suceed, will you give Texas back to Mexico? I am really curious.
For those interested in leaving the US, I have a few suggestions. Europe, France, Russia, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Italy, Siberia, North Pole, South Pole, New Zealand, Asia, The Middle East are just a few places that come to mind. I would be willing to help people get passports, so that they can leave.
Thank You

President Obama made a surprise visit to the campaign office in
Chicago yesterday to give a heartfelt thank-you to staff and volunteers.
I wanted to pass this video along, because it's a message every single person
who helped build this campaign deserves to see. He
wasn't just talking to those of us in the office -- he was talking to all of
you.
http://my.barackobama.com/Thank-You
In his speech on Election Night, President Obama gave you all the title you
have spent the last year and a half earning:
"The best campaign
team and volunteers in the history of politics."
So many times in this election, this campaign was counted out. They said our
supporters wouldn't turn out, and we'd never see the kind of voter
participation we saw in 2008. They said we'd be buried in money and
special-interest influence. And they said that no campaign could overcome the
political headwinds we faced.
Last year, a major American newspaper asked, "Is Obama toast?" As
recently as two weeks ago, another ran this headline: "Can Obama
win?"
Tuesday night, you all answered all of those doubts with a resounding YES WE
CAN. By knocking on doors, organizing phone banks, and chipping in a few bucks
when you could, you built a campaign that is unparalleled. And you re-elected
our president.
You also proved that millions of ordinary people taking ownership of a cause is
still the most powerful force in our political process. You showed that
grassroots organizing and small donations are not only the right way to win,
but also the most effective way.
How we got here must guide where we go. If we're going to accomplish the things
America voted for on Tuesday, you've got to be even more involved in getting
them done than you were in giving us all the chance.
We'll be in touch soon about how we can get started on some of the President's
top priorities in his second term.
For now, I just want to say I am so proud of this team. And I can't wait to see
where you take this incredible movement from here.
Thank you -- more to come,
